don't want to sound like the daily mail, but...

Tonight's news contained details of an horrific attack on a school teacher in Bristol.
When asked to describe the suspect, an investigating officer said he was of 'dual heritage'.
This presumably means mixed race. To me, dual heritage sounds like a brand of two berth caravan.
I know he's been on his diversity training course, and doubtless he's learned some fancy new words - but really do we need to hear them?
Who else would use 'dual heritage' outside of a race-relations think tank?
Does anyone know what these people are talking about?
Keep it simple.
